With my experience of teaching and performing piano in Tokyo and the United States, I would like to share the beauty and joy of music with people of all levels, nationalities, and ages.

I can give piano lessons (even in English) in any genre of music, from classical to jazz and musicals.

Improvisation

Improvisation is a live composition based on the Melody, Harmony and Rhythm of the music. In Western music, there has been improvisation since the Baroque music era. In particular within Jazz and Contemporary music improvisation is an important and fun aspect. The phrases within an improvisation are like words. Having a lot of vocabulary will enrich your music.
